LIP AUGMENTATION

This 37 years old cosmetic surgery patient comes every 6-9 months for lip augmentation with fillers. She has a mild asymmetry of both upper an lower lip; her left upper lip is smaller then left and her left lower lip is slightly smaller then right. This type of asymmetry is frequently seen  and is considered normal. Using soft tissue fillers one can correct this subtle discrepancy and create symmetry and enhancement.

For lip enhancement we use thin dermal fillers like Restylane Silk, Belotero or fat grafts. Only a white roll, area between red portion of lip and facial skin is injected. A small amount of filler injected in this area will create youthful fullness and lift. Usually, 1 ml of selected soft tissue filler is sufficient to produce desired result.

Patient is shown before injection of 1 ml of  Restylane Silk and 7 days after injection of soft tissue filler.
