FACIAL FAT GRAFTS

This South Florida plastic surgery patient wanted rejuvenation of the “eyes and eyelids”. She complained of tired and depressed look. After detailed clinical evaluation we discussed fat grafting around the eyes and cheeks to create youthful fullness and brow lift effect.

Surgery was done in local anesthesia with mild perioral sedation. It included harvest of fat grafts from lateral thigh and injection of purified fat grafts into multiple areas of the cheeks, around orbits and brows.

Patient is shown before fat grafting placement into multiple areas of the face and around the eyes and 1 year after fat grafts. Notice youthful fullness of her cheeks and outside portion of upper eyelids/brows and “brow lift” effect of fat grafting. She also had upper eyelid surgery and forehead contouring several months before fat grafts.
