FACIAL FAT GRAFTS

A 40-year-old actor came to our Fort Lauderdale plastic surgery office for consultation about improvement of deep (nasolabial) folds around his mouth and cheek augmentation. He had different soft tissue fillers used for the same purpose in the past but he wanted to try something that may be more natural and possibly, longer lasting.

We discussed fat grafts injection into folds, cheeks and deep into muscle of the upper and lower lip to create natural fullness. Approximatelly 15 ml of purified of purified fat grafts was injected into each side, total of 30 ml. In our experience, an average of 30% of fat grafts injected into face will take after 3-6 months.

Patient is shown before facial fat grafting and 4 months after injection of fat grafts into nasolabial fold, cheeks and lips.
