MOMMY MAKEOVER

A 43-year-old Cuban patient from South Florida came to our office for a consult about body contouring. She had 2 pregnancies in the past. Patient had breast reduction surgery in Cuba about 20 years ago. She wanted a correction of her full and saggy abdomen and further reduction and lift of the breasts.

After the clinical evaluation, we discussed a breast lift with a small reduction (reduction mammoplasty) and tummy tuck with liposuction of abdomen, flanks and lower back. She made it very clear that she did not want any contouring of her curvaceous hips.

Surgery was done in our AAAA certified plastic surgery office in Fort Lauderdale. It included breast reduction-lift, tummy tuck with tightening of abdominal muscles, and aggressive contouring of abdomen, flanks and back by means of liposuction. Patient was discharged home 1.5 hours after surgery. Her recovery was without complications.
