This gentlemen had a face and neck lift 18 years ago. His major complain was neck deformity with visible muscle bands and deep wrinkles around mouth. He also wanted more definition of the jawline.

Facial rejuvenation surgery was done in twilight anesthesia. First we harvested fat from his lower abdomen by means of liposuction.  Fat grafts were than prepared separating fat tissue from fluids (blood, saline) and injected.  Approximately 15 ml. of fat was injected into areas around mouth where he had major creases and atrophy (per side, total of 30 ml.). Additional 4-5 ml. of fat grafts was injected along lower jaw, deep over the bone, to improve jaw definition. Standard neck lift approach through a small incision underneath the chin addressed neck muscle bands and tightening of platysma muscles. Face lift with SMAS plication is to follow, using already existing incisions in front and behind the ears.
