FACE LIFT

This 65-year-old South Florida cosmetic surgery patient came to our Ft. Lauderdale plastic surgery office for a consultation about facial rejuvenation. Her major complaint was a heavy neck (turkey gobbler neck deformity), jowls and “sagging cheeks”.

After the detailed clinical evaluation was completed, we discussed face and neck lift surgery. Fat grafting is used to replace lost facial volume (fat tissue mostly) was discussed as a part of the procedure.

Surgery was done in our office based plastic surgery center in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Fat grafts were harvested from the thigh and injected into multiple areas of the face to replace missing volume and lift  deflated structures. Lifting of the neck and face by means of SMAS type of face/neck lift followed. Patient was discharged home 1 hour after surgery. She was back to work in 2-3 weeks.
