LIP PROCEDURES CASE #351

A 69-year-old cosmetic surgery patient from Miami came for consultation about lip reduction. She wanted to preserve full, ethnic lips but wanted them slightly smaller. After consultation is completed we decided to do a conservative upper and lower lip reduction and preserve natural, full, youthful harmony of the lips.

Surgery was done in local anesthesia in our plastic surgery office in Ft. Lauderdale. It included removal of equal amount of mucosa and red portion of the lip on both upper and lower lip to preserve size balance of the lips. Scar was placed inside of the lips and is invisible.

Patient is shown before lip reduction and 1 year after reduction of upper and lower lip.
