LIP REDUCTION

A cosmetic surgery patient from Miami came to our Fort Lauderdale office for consultation about large chin and large lips. She had chin surgery several years earlier in attempt to decrease size of her large, protruding chin. After bony portion of the chin was reduced she was left with sagging looking chin. In her opinion her large lips further  contributed to “droopiness of her chin”. She wanted to have both lip and chin reduction done in the same surgery.

Her surgery was performed in our plastic surgery center in Fort Lauderdale. It included chin lift and reduction of both upper and lower lip in twilight anesthesia. She was discharged home after surgery. Additional reduction of upper lip was done 6 months after first surgery.
