“Friends” Cast Cosmetic Surgery

First airing in 1994, the sitcom ‘Friends’ has become an iconic part of American pop culture. With the recent introduction of ‘Friends: The Reunion’ airing May 27, 2021, we got to take a look at the actors nearly two decades later. Undoubtedly an attractive cast of actors, they haven’t seemed to age much even after so many years. Actors are known for careful diets and exercise; however, they did have some cosmetic assistance in keeping their good looks. In the first season of ‘Friends,’ now 56-year-old actress Courteney Cox was 30 years old. While stating she has let most of her surgeries fade in recent years, Courteney has had several cosmetic facial procedures done. She was a frequent patient of facial implants and fillers, a significant factor in her retaining her youthful look.  

Courteney has had great advice for those interested in similar procedures: err on the side of caution and go for subtle and gradual procedures. In a quote to magazine New Beauty, she stated, “So you walk out, and you don’t look so bad, and you think, no one noticed — it’s good. Lisa Kudrow’s Past With Plastic Surgery

Turning 58 this year and having started filming ‘Friends’ at the age of 31, Lisa Kudrow has largely steered clear from cosmetic surgeries. She has admitted, however, that she underwent a successful rhinoplasty procedure at the age of 16 and stated that she was very happy with its results.²   

Jennifer Aniston’s Past With Plastic Surgery

52-year-old Jennifer Aniston, just 25 years old in season 1, is not the biggest fan of cosmetic procedures. Blessed with amazing genetic beauty, she has admitted to trying many different procedures but felt they were not for her. In a quote to People in 2007, she stated, “I’m not saying I haven’t tried it. All that cosmetic stuff looks ridiculous on me.” While she may not have been a fan of fillers and injections, she did admit to undergoing a rhinoplasty procedure.³

The male actors of the cast of ‘Friends’ have not been very open regarding past procedures. This could be due to the fact that they had none done or simply do wish to share their medical histories.
